Re-installing i-PO Receive on the PT40

Your PT40 comes from Total BusinessWare, Inc with two custom applications pre-loaded on

it. If you ever need to re-install the programs follow these steps.

Prerequisites:

1. Install dock

2. Install software that allows you to communicate with the PT40.

To re-install the custom i-PO Receive software onto your PT40

1. Put the PT40 into the Dock.

2. Put the i-PO Receive CD into your computer.

3. Launch PPGxfer. >Start >Programs >PT Program Generator>PPGxfer

4. Click >File >Open. Navigate to your CDROM drive and double click

i-PO Receive.hex

5. The Select Application Number dialog pops up.

6. Select Application 1, click OK.

7. When the PT40 is successfully loaded it will chime and the PSC PPGxfer program log

will reflect the fact that the portable has been successfully programmed:

8. On the PT40 press any key (except SCAN).

Press F1 to choose i-PO Receive.

Press enter twice to accept the date and time. Press any blue F-key to continue.
